Midvale City became a participating city with Unified Police Department on July 1, 2011.
The quality and efficiency of Midvale's public safety remains extremely important to us as it also important to our citizens. Midvale's membership with Unified Police is aimed at improving the service and coverage available to everyone in Midvale. Our Mayor sits on the UPD Board and is involved in discussing important issues such as budget, policy, and administration. She will personally work to provide a community that is safe for our residents, businesses, and visitors.
In 2011, Midvale City joined the Unified Fire Service Area, which is a special service area of the State of Utah. Fire and emergency services are provided by Unified Fire Authority (UFA). UFA provides services to Midvale citizens such as, fire and emergency response services, CERT training, and support for city events.
